Chonos a la caza / Chonos on the hunt

Painting depicting a hunting trip by the nomadic indigenous Chonos. An indigenous group of Chilean origin, they lived between the Chiloé Archipelago and the Taitao Peninsula. They were hunter-gatherers, with men hunting deer, sea lions, and other animals. Women were responsible for fishing and childcare. Acrylic on canvas (50 x 70 cm).
